Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Eye Shadow Palette!
Monday, October 27, 2008I ordered the Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Eye Shadow Palette (what a mouthful!) from an eBay.ph seller and the package arrived 3 days after it was shipped; intact, pretty, and oh-so-shimmery.
(Pics here were taken by my Sony Ericsson G900. Not bad quality, if I do say so myself!)

Click on the image above to zoom in and see how shimmery the colors are!
Coastal Scents eyeshadow palettes have gotten rave reviews online, particularly on Youtube, for their vibrant colors as well as their affordability. Now, P1450 may not sound cheap to you, but these eyeshadows have been compared to those of MAC’s (and we know how much their eyeshadows cost, right? Right.). P1450 for 88 colors of good quality, highly pigmented eyeshadows is actually a good deal to consider. If you find 88 colors a bit too much for you, they also happen to have a 28 piece neutral palette as well as other sets on their website.
Check out how pigmented the shades are on my fingertips.
Now all I need to buy now is a decent eyeshadow brush. For now, those q-tip applicator thingies that come supplied with the palette will have to do. Or my fingers.
I Gots Me a Sony Ericsson G900!

After months of debating with myself and constant researching, I finally bought the Sony Ericsson G900! And yes, I settled with the red because it’s oh-so-pretty! Click here to see why I wanted to get the phone in the first place.
Don’t mind the chipped black nail polish.
I got it for a really good price and a one year warranty at Greenhills. Around P4k cheaper than when you buy it at an offical SE outlet. Yeah, I positively LOVE Sony Ericsson phones. I find them really user friendly and highly customizable.
So what do I think of the phone so far? I love it! It may have its faults (it lags quite a bit longer than my previous phone, the K800i) but I love its other features (which I already mentioned in my other post so I won’t bother writing them all down here again). Handwriting recognition is fairly accurate and I find myself using it more often for texting instead of using the keypad. Must be the novelty of it all. I just wish the stylus was a tad bit thicker. It’s a bit too thin and pinching it between my two fingers can get a bit uncomfortable at times.
Still haven’t connected to the Internet with it yet. I have to get it configured at a Globe center. But I already downloaded and installed a free application which allows me to chat on YM using my phone. Hello, Fring! Can’t wait to get on the Net with this baby.
I also downloaded some really cute themes. Here are some of the themes I chose from Zedge.net:

It sure is nice to have a new gadget to play with.
Art Gallery Hopping, etc.
Saturday, October 25, 2008Yesterday, Al, Kei and I were looking for potential art galleries for our group exhibit next year. It was quite tiring and the weather was hot, hot, hot but it was loads of fun as well. We hit the galleries in Megamall, Serendra, and Bonifacio High Street and the whole experience got me more and more inspired and excited for our actual exhibit. Out of all the galleries, I have my heart set on two, but we’ll have to discuss the other options with the other girls before we decide on anything.
We also dropped by the Fully Booked Bonifacio High street branch for a break and browsed for some beautifully designed acid-free/archival journals by Paperblanks, which are excellent for on-the-go sketches and sudden bouts of inspiration. Here are some of the designs that I like:

No, not into Moleskines, thanks. I’m not really into things which I consider as over-hyped (Picasso, Matisse, and Hemingway did not use Moleskine notebooks, thank you very much).
Our last stop was Ayala Museum where we viewed Fernando Armosolo’s exhibit entitled “Amorsolo’s Women Concealed and Revealed”. It was an excellent way to end the day. What can I say, I love museums and viewing paintings in person. Pictures of paintings on the internet and in print absolutely do not do justice to seeing the actual paintings for yourself. Drop by Ayala Museum and check out the amazing and wonderfully beautiful paintings of the great artist that is Fernando Amorsolo! The exhibit will run all the way upto March 8,2009 so there is loads of time to plan your trip. Tickets cost P125 if I remember correctly.

I’m a Freakazoid
Sunday, October 19, 2008Your result for The Brutally Honest Personality Test…
Freak- INFJ
47% Extraversion, 67% Intuition, 33% Thinking, 53% Judging

Well, well, well. How did someone like you end up with the least common personality type of them all? In a group of 100 Americans, only 0.5 others would be just like you. You really are one of a kind… In fact, I do believe that that’s one of the definitions for the word “FREAK.”
Freak’s not such a bad word to describe you actually.
You are deep, complex, secretive and extremely difficult to understand. If that doesn’t scream “Freak!” I don’t know what does. No-one actually knows the REAL you, do they?
You probably have deep interests in creative expression as well as issues of spirituality and human development.
You’ve probably even been called a “psychic” before, because of your uncanny knack to understand and “read” people without quite knowing how you do it. Don’t fret. You’re not actually psychic. That would make you special and you’ll never accomplish that.
You’re also quite possible the most emotional of them all, so don’t take this all too hard. Nevertheless you most definitely have the strangest personality type and that’s not necessarily a good thing.

LOLZ! I always knew I was a freak. I checked out Google for a more serious description of my personality type (INFJ) and I have to say, that it was fairly accurate. See the portrait of an INFJ here and the possible career paths for an INFJ here.
