Welcome to the Mechtechs World!

IAS is currently developing a new manga mini-series and virtual world called Mechtechs.
The series is set in a mecha garage run by a dysfunctional cast of characters who are passionate about creating giant pilot-driven robots (or mechas). While the comedic dysfunction of the relationships and the daily drama in the garage is the primary focus of the series, the garage is but a microcosm of a much larger mecha universe. The mechas built in the garage are being used to compete in the inter-galactic mecha tournament that is taking place right outside.

Want to know the cool part? During the development phase, manga fans can visit the MechTechs blogs and see the characters as they are being drawn via our live 24-hour webcast.

And even better, fans can contribute and make suggestions to the artists as they draw the characters.

The first print issue of the series will be released in November 2008 along with the launch of the 3-D virtual mecha world.

    As you all probably gathered from my previous post, I’m hella bored. However, there’s just one itty-bitty thing that I’ve been looking forward to and that is: SHOPPING. 

 

I don’t know why but it’s been my most recent occupation as of late (my credit cards can attest to that) and for some weird reason it gives me a sense of satisfaction, albeit temporary. Yes, I know that times are tough and we should all learn to tighten our belts but please bear with me. It’s what I do in the mean time considering that I’m having a major case of artist’s block.

The Result of Boredom

Ugh. I am so fantastically bored. I haven’t been feeling too creative lately and I don’t even feel like playing video games either. And so out of sheer restlessness and lack of anything to do, I have created yet another blog. Will this one outlive the others? How many other blogs have to die an undeserving death before I decide to finally just stick to one? Does this make me a murderer? A whore? Not that I care about what you Nazis think anyway.

Anyway, let’s see how long I’ll last with this one. Still figuring out how this whole thing works, but so far, it seems to be pretty ok.

So, welcome to another of world of randomness, inanity, insanity (created by yours truly) and maybe you just might learn a thing or two.
