- Maybelline Volume Express Waterproof Mascara (Hypercurl): I originally wanted to get L’oreal’s Bare Naturale Mascara but the branches here in this country don’t seem to carry that particular type. Poo. So I just settled with Maybelline instead. The makeup lady told me that I wouldn’t be needing a curler with this mascara and being the sucker that I am, I bought it and tried it out when I got home. It did give a slight curl to my lashes but it wasn’t that obvious. It did, however, thicken and lengthen my lashes and I really, really liked the effect. I wore it the whole day today and it didn’t flake, smudge or irritate my eyes. Good stuff, this shit.

- L’oreal Gentle Eye Make up Remover: Naturally I had to buy eye make up remover to remove my mascara. This one worked pretty well with little effort on my part and it didn’t irritate my eyes. I’ve read about some people having a hard time removing waterproof mascara but I experienced no such difficulty when I used this. Another A+ for this product!

- Shiseido Eyelash Curler: Allow me to share my sad story of using a cheap-ass eyelash curler: I got several of my eyelashes stuck in the damn tool. Twice. Within a span of a few weeks. I had to use a small pair of scissors to snip off a couple of my lashes. No more cheap curlers for me! I’ve done my research and apparently Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler is the best eyelash curler ever. Made by the Gods (who happen to be Japanese!). But considering it’s very hefty price, I decided to go for the next best thing: Shiseido! (which is still pricey but not as pricey as Uemura’s). Haven’t tried using it yet so I’ll give it a go tomorrow morning when I go out for work.
- A little red dress from Solo: I spotted this dress months ago but I didn’t get to buy it then because it was quite pricey at that time. Good thing that it happened to be one of the items on sale! And I got it for a little more than half the price! The question is when do I wear it? Oh well. If an occassion comes up, at least I’ll be ready.

Cinnamon Buns 3-in-1 Shampoo, body wash and bubblebath: I’m running out of body wash so I decided to buy a shower gel from a store recommended to me by a friend. Philosophy has a wide range of bath products with yummy scents ranging from fruits to chocolate and I ended up buying the Cinnamon Buns scent. I tried using it on my hands when I got home and the texture was rich and creamy. The smell was delicious!
I love the products that I bought and I can’t wait for the next big sale! Next month, however, I’m going to be spending money on some really awesome PS3 games coming out in October. Which games are they? That will be reserved for the next post!
