Clear Makeup from Philosophy

Thursday, July 31, 2008

So kill me. I found yet another rather intriguing beauty product while browsing the net (curse you World Wide Web! And you too Boredom!) this time from Philosophy.

The Present Clear Makeup gives your skin an “airbrushed look”, smoothening out your wrinkles/fine lines as well as large pores. Recommended for oily skin and apparently originally designed to cover vulnerable skin after dermabrasion and acid skin peels.

Okay. I have large pores, oily skin, and my skin is flaking off in a totally freaky way at the moment thanks to the acid skin peel my dermatologist administered to me last weekend (yes, all that doesn’t paint a very pretty picture of me but I predict that my old skin will completely shed off by Friday. Go away. Kthxbai.) so this product sounds perfect!

Of course, as with any other product, I did my research and read up on reviews online (which are, for the most part, positive and yes, I use too many brackets in one post) so I’m not just going to buy this just because it sounded good on the Philosophy website. I must try it myself! And if it doesnt work out, I’ll probably give it to my mom or sell it or something.

Oh, and ladies who are interested in the products that I’m blogging about here, do note that I will also be making my personal reviews about them once I get my claws on them. And if I have the cash, of course. But if you are willing to supply me with beauty products for free for me to try out, that would really, really be nice of you *bats eyelashes*

This product actually reminds me of a BB Cream I’m currently using with a few differences here and there. What the hell is a BB Cream? That is reserved for another post!
